All You Need Is Love!
OUR LOVE STORY…
Once upon a college campus in September of 2016, fate had a quirky sense of humor and decided to play matchmaker by pairing us together.
For Emilie, it was a classic case of love at first sight when she spotted Brandon from across the lecture hall. She was instantly smitten and thought "Yep, he's the one." However, Brandon, who was blissfully unaware that his world was about to be turned upside down, required a bit more convincing. But hey, all great love stories need a bit of a chase, right?
Eventually, Brandon came around and realized that Emilie was his perfect match. Her laughter was infectious, her spirit like a ray of sunshine. And for Emilie, Brandon was more than just a handsome face - he was her rock, her confidant, her partner in crime.
Now, here's where things get interesting: if you were to compare Emilie and Brandon, you'd swear they were from different planets. They were the epitome of opposites attract, the living embodiment of the saying "fire and ice." But hey, they say variety is the spice of life, right?
Through every disagreement, every mismatched outfit, and every failed attempt at cooking, their love only grew stronger. They learned to appreciate each other's quirks, celebrate their differences, and laugh through it all. Because at the end of the day, they knew that what they had was something special - a love that was as unique and unpredictable as they were.
THE PROPOSAL!
September 2, 2023, the day started off with brunch at the local old school diner in Alliance, Ohio. Next stop was to a Butterfly and bird sanctuary. Spending hours with the butterflies and walking the grounds. The drive back to Cleveland was filled with a mix of tunes by the Supremes, Dusty Springfield and Glen Campbell. Dinner and then picked up dessert from Little Italy. We set up a picnic blanket in Lakeview Cemetery and enjoyed the sweet treats. Well… and the rest is history!
